- I became a member of the Chan Qi Fa School in summer 1993

As a teen-age adult, I always wanted to learn martial art to learn how to fight, to be able to beat up people like in the movie. But as my training with Chan Qi Fa School progress, I learn how to fight a different way. I learned how to fight myself. According to the Chan Qi Chan philosophies, your greatest enemy is you. To be able to conquer yourself is the greatest battle you would ever win. For instance, at Chan Qi Fa, everyday training is a battle, because the training challenges each individual physically and mentally. If you can overcome the intense physical stage of the training, you are only won half of the battle. The other half you have to win it mentally. This is why I become fascinated with Chan Qi Fa style of martial art. It gives me a peace of mind, a healthy life, and it prepare me for a battle that I know I will win for sure.
Through Sifu Tran guidance and philosophies, I only had begun the battle. I made it all the way to instructor level, which was not easy to obtain. Now, I am a certified instructor at Chan Qi Fa School. As an instructor, there are many responsibilities to the school, to sifu, and to the students. I have a responsibility to promoting the school and expanding the school. I have a responsibility to spread the wonderful teaching of Chan Qi Fa, so many others can benefits from it teaching. Currently, I am taken on a new venture. I am taken part on a school wise expansion to spread the teaching of Chan Qi Fa. I planned to open classes in McKinney and Plano location.
